Privacy policy
ScanSticker stores the records a service company needs to identify equipment, perform work, bill customers, and keep those records connected. This page explains what we collect, why we use it, and what happens when a connected service is disconnected.
Information ScanSticker handles
Account information includes names, business contact details, login records, roles, security settings, and subscription information.
Service information includes customers, locations, equipment records, QR identifiers, manuals, warranties, requests, work orders, schedules, technician notes, photos, estimates, invoices, parts activity, and payment records.
Technical information includes device and browser details, security and audit events, approximate network information, and the operational logs needed to keep the service reliable.
QuickBooks Online connection
When an authorized account owner connects QuickBooks Online, ScanSticker receives the QuickBooks company identifier, company name, authorization tokens, and the accounting records needed to deliver and verify the connection.
The launch connection sends approved customers, products or services, issued invoices, and received payments from ScanSticker to QuickBooks. It does not request payroll, banking, or QuickBooks Payments scopes.
Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. Disconnecting stops new QuickBooks calls and requests token revocation. Accounting mappings and delivery evidence may be retained so prior financial activity remains auditable.
How information is used
We use information to provide the service, secure accounts, complete requested integrations, deliver messages, process payments, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain financial and operational audit trails.
ScanSticker does not sell customer or end-user personal information. Service providers receive only the information needed to perform hosting, storage, communications, payments, security, or connected-account functions.
Retention and requests
Records are retained while an account is active and as needed for security, contractual, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal obligations. Some financial and audit records cannot be rewritten or immediately deleted without damaging the integrity of the business record.
To request access, correction, export, or deletion, email hello@scansticker.com. We may need to verify that the requester is authorized for the affected account.
Security and changes
ScanSticker uses access controls, tenant isolation, encryption, signed webhooks, audit records, and restricted production credentials. No internet service can promise absolute security, so suspected misuse should be reported promptly.
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised date.
